It is again time to have the flu vaccine but, again, as had happened five years ago, there was a nasty surprise for those of us who use the Gżira government clinic for this service.
This is because someone who has no idea how painful it is to have to climb stairs for those with a mobility problem or, as in my case, rheumatoid arthritis, decided that, again, the vaccine will be given upstairs.
Perhaps it is about time that the public is notified that the vaccine at Gżira clinic will not be available downstairs, as has been the case for many years, so, at least, we won’t go all the way there for nothing, as has just happened to me.
Could common sense kindly prevail once again?
