Eddie Fenech Adami signed hundreds of copies of his autobiography yesterday at The Point in Tigne, Sliema.

The queue snaked around an entire floor of the shopping centre, with some people arriving more than an hour before the signing session was due to begin.

Such was the demand, that the former Prime Minister and President did not manage to leave the building till 2pm. The session was supposed to end at noon.

Proceeds from the book, Eddie – My Journey, written with the assistance of Times of Malta Editor-in-Chief Steve Mallia and published by Allied Publications, will be going to Dar Tal-Providenza.

On Saturday, Dr Fenech Adami will be signing copies at the Casino Maltese in Valletta between 10am and noon. There will also be a signing session in Gozo on March 15.
