Emirates Airlines has started flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, which has become the fifth gateway for Emirates in the US and the fourth new route to join the airline’s international network so far this year.

“Emirates’ newest US destination is a thriving and dynamic metroplex, which is home to one of the highest concentrations of Fortune 500 companies in the country,” said Nigel Page, senior vice president of commercial operations in the Americas.

Dallas/Fort Worth became Emirates’ 121st global destination. Customers flying Emirates from Dallas/Fort Worth will be able to connect to points across the Far and Middle East, Indian sub-continent and Africa via the airline’s hub in Dubai.

Passengers travelling with Emirates to its five gateway destinations in the US are also able to connect directly to many other US cities through the airline’s partnerships.

In addition to the new Dallas/Fort Worth service, Seattle will launch on Thursday, Ho Chi Minh City on June 4 and Barcelona on July 3.

Emirates operates flights on a daily schedule from Malta to Dubai via Larnaca, Cyprus.
