I have a great admiration for those people who take their dogs out for walks and proudly show the world the little plastic bag hanging from the leash, indicating that they are decent citizens  who clean up after their dogs.

My admiration increases when I notice the subtle way these people get rid of these little bags.  They do not wait to get home and place them in their normal rubbish bins but throw them on other people’s doorsteps.

A walk down Don Rua Street, Howard Street and Nathalie Poutiatin Tabone Street, Sliema will explain clearly what I mean.
