With regrets I resort to writing this letter about the incompetence of the Water Services Corporation when it comes to stopping the loss of thousands of litres of water that has been leaking for the past month in Marsascala.

Residents in Triq Il-Maħsel have for the past three or four weeks made umpteen reports on two leaks in the water distribution system. For some reason or another these faults have not yet been repaired, thus resulting in wastage of precious water which we are paying for from our pockets.

Also, it is causing an inconvenience to residents due to the mud being carried away with the water.

I expected the WSC to lead by example and take immediate action where loss of water is involved.
