The sign in the photo has been there for quite a long time and, since nobody seems to care, I decided to make myself heard through this newspaper.

The road is Triq il-Kappillan Mifsud, situated a few metres away from Lidl in Santa Venera. As one can see, the sign is planted right in the middle of the pavement.

I find it rather difficult to manoeuvre my loaded shopping carrier between the pole and the wall, let alone what others must find if pushing a pushchair or a wheelchair. As cars are parked on this side of the street, to get past one must step onto the road, facing heavy traffic that is always present in this major artery.

Something must be done before a nasty accident occurs.
