I hope that readers’ letters about potholes will induce someone responsible either from the government or local councils to take immediate action.

Two particular streets in Żebbuġ, Ħal Mula Road and P. Pelaġju Mifsud Street and their surroundings are full of potholes.

No action has been taken to at least repair them temporarily. The excuse is that the streets are earmarked for resurfacing.

However, it seems this resurfacing is going to take ages and in the meantime potholes are turning into craters.

I urge drivers (and pedestrians) coming across potholes in each locality around Malta to inform their council that they will hold them responsible for any personal or material damages incurred.
