A Briton wanted in the UK for sexual offences on minors yesterday consented to be extradited back home to face the music.

Dane Wesley Anderson, 34, from Essex had a European arrest warrant issued against him by the Stoke on Trent authorities on July 15 and was tracked down by the Maltese police two days ago.

Police Inspector Mario Cuschieri told the court that, according to the warrant, Mr Anderson was wanted in the UK on charges of a sexual nature involving minors.

Mr Anderson who was residing in Msida, consented to be extradited and, by law, will leave in the next 15 days. He was assisted by lawyer Simon Micallef Stafrace.
