The Malta Business Bureau is holding a two-day training programme on EU-funded project management practices on February 4 and 5.

Participants will be provided with the necessary knowledge, skills and practical understanding on how best to submit an EU-project proposal and subsequently manage the funded project.

They will be shown how to identify EU grants and calls for proposals. Project management and the relevant financial administration will also be covered.

A simulation exercise will illustrate how to develop an idea into a concrete project proposal, including the full drafting of a project application, will be organised and mentored by a trainer.

Sessions will be led by Francesco Vallebona, a Brussels-based EU direct funding and grants expert.

Topics include the main EU-funding programmes and information sources, an overview of 2014-2020 multi-annual financial framework programming period priorities, application and submission strategies, partner search and consortium building, financial planning and management, dissemination of project ideas and communication of project results, and simulation of submitting a project proposal.

Early bird registrations must be received before December 21.

Participation is limited to first-come, first-served and will be confirmed on payment.
