The Ivan Cordoba training camp has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances, Inter Club Pupi Zanetti Malta, the organisers, announced in a statement last night.

The former Inter defender was due in Malta this week to conduct a three-day coaching clinic for kids at the Luxol Grounds between tomorrow and Monday.

“Inter Club PUPI Zanetti Malta, organisers of the Ivan Ramiro Cordoba Training Camp in Malta, regret to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, the training camp as well as the other events planned to take place between December 6 and 8, 2014 have been postponed,” the statement said.

“Despite the fact that such circumstances are unfortunately beyond anyone’s control, the club would nonetheless like to extend its sincere apologies for the disappointment and inconvenience caused.

“Tickets paid for any of the events will be refunded in full.

“While the club apologises for the unexpected development, Ivan Cordoba has reassured us that the event will be held sometime in the first half of next year.

“New dates and details will be communicated in due course.”
