Anton Dougall decided to return to one of his early loves – cookery cards – after an absence of several years.

He published two sets of cards – the first set in English is titled Maltese Cuisine and consists of 50 cards, while the Maltese set comprising 50 cards is called Ħelu (sweets).

Dougall published his first set of cookery cards more than 30 years ago. These were a novelty in Malta and every set had up to 600 cards featuring various sections, with each recipe being very simple to follow. The cards proved extremely popular and about 25,000 sets were sold in a short span.

Both sets may be obtained from leading book shops in the coming days. The cost of each set is €12, but if one buys both sets, the price is reduced to €20.

The cards can also be ordered online at www.tisjir.com.
