The annual Coca-Cola Quality Safety Environment (QSE) Business Unit meeting was hosted at the General Soft Drinks plant on March 27, 28 and 29.

The three-day meeting brought together QSE managers from Italy, Russia, Mexico, Switzerland, Serbia, Poland and Bulgaria to discuss the implementation of the new QSE governance plan and the communication plan, among other internal topics.

An honour for our company to be able to host this meeting

GSD Marketing Ltd CEO Maria Micallef gave a presentation to the participants, giving a general overview of Malta while highlighting the 2018 business plan for GSD Marketing Ltd. The QSE managers were given a tour of the plant and also met with the management team.

“It was an honour for our company to be able to host this meeting, which was both productive and successful, at our plant,” said Ms Micallef.

“We work hard to meet the highest standards of product safety and quality. It is our goal to offer safe and refreshing beverages to all of our consumers.”

She added: “As bottlers for the Coca-Cola Company, our long-term success depends on working to ensure the highest quality of our products, the safety of our workers, the safety of visitors to our operations and the public.”
