As reported in The Times quite some time ago, it was declared by an unknown Malta Financial Services Authority representative that the conclusions of one of the two remaining complaints lodged against the Bank of Valletta in connection with the La Valette Fund fiasco would be published “imminently”.

It would appear that the MFSA are as unaware of the true meaning of this word as they are similarly unaware of their due diligence duties and responsibilities to the citizens of Malta and on consumer complaints.

Could The Times kindly enquire how the MFSA determines and establishes what “imminently” actually means to it as all requests for clarification from this particular citizen and consumer have, unaccountably and irresponsibly, been summarily ignored.
