Maltese children are being encouraged to play their part in a world record attempt at creating the world’s largest picture mosaic as part of an Early Learning Centre activity.

The mosaic is expected to contain about 15,000 drawings and paintings from children across the world.

ELC Malta is also taking part in this event, and all entries from Malta will be sent to the UK to be included in the final mosaic, which will be exhibited at the Doug Ellis Stadium in Birmingham.

The best entry from Malta will win a €100 voucher to be spent in the ELC Arts and Crafts section. Two runner-ups will receive €50 prizes.

Mosaic application forms can be collected from ELC stores in Rabat and Valletta as well as a number of participating schools.

Entries are to be handed in or sent by post to ELC Malta, 61, St Paul Street, Rabat by not later than May 12, for onward dispatch to the UK.
