Over the next few months, Bank of Valletta is holding free information sessions for importers to guide them through the latest products and services.
The first two-hour session will be held at the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry in Republic Street, Valletta, on June 14 at 4 p.m.
BoV experts will deal with topics like foreign exchange risk management, the Single European Payments Area (SEPA) and the use of internet and mobile banking.
“Importers know how important it is to keep abreast of the payment channels opening up as a result of legislation and technology,” BoV’s Research and Business Generation Department executive head Noel Scerri said. “For example, the Single European Payment Area has removed a number of cross-border obstacles for transactions with 32 countries, making payments not only more convenient but also more cost-efficient.”
There are limited places available on a first-come, first-served basis. For information and registration contact Christine Albani on 2275 7367 or at christine.albani@bov.com.
