St Paul’s Bay Primary Class 5.1, together with a group of teachers, learning support assistants and parents, recently cleaned up the tiny beach that lies just beneath the school. They collected a huge amount of rubbish despite there being a bin barely four metres away. Some participants also dived to clean the sea bed. The exercise served as a lesson on how to be responsible, how important it is not to be indifferent towards the environment, and the difficulty of resolving the problems caused by others.
