Bank of Valletta plans to enhance its mobile banking service to increase the versatility of mobile payments for personal and business customers, the bank said.
The increased innovation builds on the success of the award-winning BOV Mobile platform which has registered more than 11,500 users and over half a million uses to make payments, transfer funds and to monitor their accounts in one year. The app is part of the bank’s multiyear, multichannel strategy of innovation to redefining customer experience and strengthen the bank’s brand positioning.
“When we launched mobile banking one year ago, we were effectively embarking on a new cycle of customer-centric innovation, reinforcing our commitment to provide a straightforward and efficient service through the use of new technologies,” chief officer for operations Michael Galea said.
