FIFA referee Esther Azzopardi will make a comeback to the international scene this month after getting an appointment from UEFA to control the women’s Champions League qualifier between Brondby IF (Denmark) and Gintra Universitetas (Lithuania).

The Round of 16, first leg will be played at the Brondby Stadion on November 9.

Azzopardi will be assisted on the lines by Sian Massey (England FA) and Angela Kyriakou (Cyprus FA).

Hilda McDermott (Ireland FA) will be the referee observer in Brondby and Elena Kobak (Russia FA) is the UEFA delegate for the match.
