An exhibition by a young man with a passion for art is drawing in admirers at the Palazzo Ferrona Ferreria. Nicholas Cassar’s wonderful sculptures with such themes as the Tree of Life and Praying are the result of his passion for creativity since he officially started studying art at St Augustine’s College in Pietà.

In 2008 he attended Mcast Art and Design at Tarġa Gap and he says that his tutors were very knowledgeable and instilled in him the appreciation of different artistic styles and techniques which helped him fulfil his potential.

Consequently he achieved the First Diploma in Art and Design and a year later he attained the National Diploma in Design Crafts and graduated with a Triple Distinction.

His work is colourful and thought-provoking and can be seen until January 21.
