The number of passengers using Malta International Airport in April hit a record high, going up 1.4 per cent over the same month last year to more than 304,000.

This is the second time in a row that the figure for April has hit the 300,000 mark even though there was a 3.3 per cent drop in seat capacity. Aircraft movements went down by 2.9 per cent.
