ZAHRA. On June 30, Guża, nèe Azzopardi, of Dingli, widow of Ninu, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mary, wife of Joe Micallef, Christina, wife of Philip Micallef, Carlo and his partner Helen, Annie, wife of Paul Micallef, Sr Doris of St Dorothy’s, Paul, and his wife Joyce, Mario, and his wife Mary, Tessie, wife of Reno Sant, Margaret, wife of Perit Ninu Zammit, and Tania Vella, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, Saturday, July 1, at 2.30pm for St Mary’s parish church, Dingli, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3pm followed by interment at Maria Addolorata Cemetery, Dingli. No flowers by request but donations to id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siggiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Dear Lord, grant her eternal rest. The family wishes to thank the staff at Mater Dei Hospital who assisted her in her last days. The family would also like to thank the staff at Villa Messina and Simblija Care Home.

Requiem Mass

A Mass for the repose of the soul of MARY DE MARCO will be celebrated tomorrow, at 11am, at Attard parish church. The attendance of relatives and friends will be appreciated.
