BORG. On Saturday, January 25, FRANCIS JOSEPH, B.Pharm. (known as Joe), aged 85, passed away peacefully after a long illness so bravely borne. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Martin and his wife Muriel, Anton and his wife Sarah, Anne and her husband Francis Cuschieri, his beloved grandchildren Sarah, Matthew and Malcolm, James, Katie and Joseph, Krista and Kurt, and their partners, his sister May Borg and sister-in-law Margaret Vassallo, his nephews and nieces, all relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 1.30pm for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will becelebrated at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. DARMANIN. On February 2, ANTONELLA, née Lanzon, aged 82, resident of Birguma, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband George, her children Graziella and Joseph Delia, Daniela and Colin McHarg, her grandchildren Julian, Stephanie and her fiancé Anthony Debono, Luke, Michael and Andrew, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30pm for the Chapel of the Divine Mercy, San Pawl tat-Tarġa, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment in the family grave at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. GRUPPETTA. On February 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, CHARLES, widower of Rita, of Paola, aged 83, (President of the Anglo-Maltese League and Chairman of the School of Music of De Paul Philharmonic Society, Christ the King Band Club, Paola), passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his daughter Louise and her husband Joe Cardona, his sons Albert and his wife Marisa, Edward and his wife Natalie, his grandchildren Julian and his wife Andrea, Jeanette and her boyfriend Matthew, Robert and his girlfriend Becky, Philip, Miguel and Neil, his sisters Bice and Stella, his in-laws, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am, for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. MIFSUD. On February 3, at Mater Dei Hospital, PETER of Birkirkara, residing at Qawra, aged 86, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by rites of Holy Church. Greatly missed by his son Ray and his wife Josephine, Maria, widow of his son Melvin, his grandchildren Marilyn, Claude, Michelle and Maria, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 12.45pm for St Francis parish church, Qawra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 1.30pm, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. RUST. On January 31, ROBERT CHARLES, passed away, aged 85. He leaves to mourn his loss his devoted wife Joey, his children Pauline and her husband Philip, Angela and her husband Bob and Derick and his wife Louise, and his grandchildren Jason and Rachel, David and Julie, Kayleigh, Ellen and Ceiri. May he rest in peace.

SPITERI. On February 3, at St Vincent de Paul Residence, VICTOR, aged 92, from Ħamrun, widower of Emanuela, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Martin, Tanya Mallia, his grandchildren Samuel and Liza, his in-laws and their families, other relatives and friends.
