ZAMMIT. On December 17, at St James Capua Hospital, on her 99th birthday, dear beloved mother, EMMANUELA, née Bartolo,widow of Pio Eucharistico, born in Valletta and residing with her son Paul in Lija, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her eight children Maria, Evelyn, George, Michael, Joseph, Paul, Victor and Elena, their spouses, her 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, her sister Helen Hill, residing in England, her in-laws Lawrence, Paul and his wife Helen, other relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at the Transfiguration parish church, Lija, today at 2pm. No flowers by request but, as desired by the deceased, donations to the Lija parish church restor-ation programme will be greatly appreciated. May God grant her eternal rest.
