Road closure
Part of Windmill Street in Qormi would be closed to traffic from today until further notice due to works related to the national flood relief project, Transport Malta said.
Vehicular traffic from the Mrieħel Bypass (the roundabout junction off Joinwell/Printex) in the direction of Qormi will proceed down part of Windmill Street and commute through Valletta Road (cemetery) in the direction of the Maltapost offices.
Vehicular traffic from Windmill Street and Għargħar Street (Wied il-Kbir area) in the direction of Mrieħel Bypass will proceed through Għadira Lane and Valletta Road on to either Windmill Street and Sebħ Street or through Valletta Road in the direction of the Maltapost offices.
MUSEUM week
The MUSEUM female branch of Siġġiewi will be holding a Week of Learning between September 2 and 6 at the grounds of the Christian doctrine society’s premises (located in the bypass just before getting to St Nicholas Square) at 7pm. Childminders will be provided. Everyone is welcome.
Heritage walk
The Cospicua Heritage Society will be holding a heritage walk on September 1. Those interested should be at the Dock One gate at 9am. The walk starts at 9.30am and take about three hours.
