Obituary
BOFFA. On August 12, at his residence in Paola, JOSEPH Junior, aged 53, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Josephine, his beloved daughters Lara and Christa, his parents Joseph and Rose, his brother Mario and his wife, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 8am for Christ the King parish church, Paola, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

Prayer meeting
The committee Moviment Madonna tal-Konsagrazzjoni will be holding a prayer meeting at Girgenti, Siġġiewi, on Sunday at 6.30pm.
Charity BBQ
A barbecue in aid of Id-Dar tal-Providenza in Siġġiewi will be held on August 24 at 7.15pm followed by an evening of entertainment with Freddie Portelli and The Greenfields. The price is €15 for adults and €8 for children. For information call 7970 3053. Bookings are accepted until August 20.
