Maritime Asset Security to offer City & Guilds course

Maritime Asset Security and Training (MAST), has become the first Maltese company to offer a City & Guilds-accredited Maritime Security Operatives course.

The City & Guilds accreditation is the latest in a number of investments MAST has made to its growing training operations on the islands, including a new firing range in Gozo.

The accreditation enables MAST to accept MoD learning credits for UK armed forces personnel taking part in lifelong learning programmes, and to offer a recognised qualification for other security personnel.

CEO MAST Philip Cable stated: “We are seeing growing interest and enquiries from maritime security companies and operatives, shipping groups and governments for the specialist security training that we are able to offer at our locations in Ta’ Xbiex and Gozo.”

MAST currently employs over 100 people in Malta.
