DARMANIN. On July 20, at Casa Antonia, Balzan, ROSA née Caruana Galizia, widow of Louis, in her 99th year. Dearly beloved mother, grandmother and aunt. She leaves to mourn her loss her children, Mary, Francis and his wife Johanna, Michael and his wife Rosemary, her granddaughter Marta with her father Dr Alfred Sant and her partner Neville Borg, her grandsons Jude and Luke, her cousin Ileana Curmi, her many nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Gregory parish church, Sliema, on Friday, July 26, at 8.45am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery. The family would like to thank the management, doctors and all the staff at Casa Antonia for their kind care and attention. Donations to Hospice Malta will be appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest and let perpetual light shine upon her.
SCICLUNA. On July 21, at Villa Messina residence, Rabat, OLIVER TARCISIO, of Marsascala, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Loved and fondly remembered by his children Mary Grace, Ophelia and her husband Lino Abela Scolaro, Olivia and her husband Dr Vincent Gauci, Michael and his wife Carmen, Joseph and his wife Mary Rose and Jacqueline widow of his son Martin, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother and his sister, in-laws, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Villa Messina residence, Rabat today at 2.45pm for St Anne parish church, Marsascala, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 3.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Żabbar cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
