GRECH. On July 15, at Mater Dei Hospital, EMANUEL of Victoria, Gozo, aged 84, passed away peacefully. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers and sisters, Edward, Anton, Theresa, John, Vivienne and their respective spouses, his brother-in-law Charles Seychell, widower of his sister Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral will take place today at 6pm at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Victoria, where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated, followed by interment at Santa Maria Cemetery, Victoria. Lord, grant him eternal peace.

MALLIA. On July 17, at St Nicholas of Tolentino Augustinian Convent, Tarxien, Fr PATRICK MALLIA, OSA, aged 80, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss the Augustinian Friars, his sister Anna Mallia, his in-law Maurice Galea, widower of his sister Maria, his nephew Joseph and his wife Doris, his nieces Prassede and her husband Michael and Rita, their children, other relatives and friends. Today, Fr Patrick will lie in state at the Oratory of St Nicholas of Tolentino Augustinian Convent from 8.30am onwards. A funeral cortege leaves at 9.45am for St Nicholas of Tolentino Augustinian church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 10am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Secretariat for the Augus-tinian Missions, Mater Boni Consilii Priory, Paceville, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

PUGLISEVICH. On July 17, HUBERT, ex-Packprint Ltd., ex-Chairman of the MADC, aged 78, of Sliema, passed away peacefully at his residence, comforted by the rites of Holy Church, after an illness. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Elizabeth, née Ericson, his daughter Vanessa and her husband Krister Poole Jonsson, his beloved grandchildren Emilia and Lucas, his sister Vera Camm, his brothers Ron and his wife Sue, Lionel and his wife Violet and all his nephews and nieces, his brother-in-law Kennet and wife Lena Ericson and his sister-in-law Gunvor and her husband Dag Persson of Sweden. Also other relatives and numerous friends, many from the theatre, television and film industry, in Malta, Sweden and England. Special thanks to MMDNA and Hospice Malta for their kind support.

Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Saturday, July 20, at 8.45am at St Gregory parish church, Sliema, followed by private interment. Donations to Hospice Malta will be appreciated.

ABELA – ARMANDO. Today the 35th anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his children Mary Axisa and her husband Alex, Fr Joe Abela, daughter-in-law Carmen, Monica Smith and her husband Mark, Therese, Carmel and his wife Tania, and her grandchildren Robert and Christian, Maria-Tereza and Armand, Alexander and Elisa-Marie, Matthew and Shanice. Mass will be celebrated today at 7am at the Conversion of St Paul church, Cospicua. A prayer is solicited.

CURMI – JOSEPH. Today being the first anniversary of his demise. Fondly remembered by his wife Mary, his son Emmanuel, his daughter-in-law Sharon, his brother and sister, other in-laws and friends.

Francis Falzon and family would like to thank the Rev. Clergy who concelebrated Mass, all the nuns of the Immaculate Conception, Tarxien, for their prayers, all relatives and friends who attended the funeral, sent cards, flowers, donations or in any way expressed sympathy at the sad loss of a beloved and devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, LINA FALZON, who went to meet the Risen Lord on June 19, 2013.
