BRINCAT. On August 24, at Sir Paul Boffa Hospital, CARMELO a.k.a. Charlie Xlugi, of Valletta, aged 62, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, his daughter Lorraine and her husband Jeffrey Shaw and their son Neill, his daughter Marquita and her husband Paul Farrugia and their children Noah, Naomi, Aaron, Deborah, Joel and Ruth, his brothers and sisters Doris and her husband Charles Mallia, Joe and his wife Ġemma, Ċensina and her husband Ċensu Lapira, Ġuża widow of his brother Paul, many nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday at 1.30 p.m. for St Paul’s parish church in Valletta where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FENECH. On August 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, EVELYN of Sliema, aged 89, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her great loss her children Mark, Sandra and her husband Frank Borg, Venera and her husband Joseph Preca, Martin, and Stephen and his wife Pauline, her grandchildren, other relatives and friends. FALZON. On August 24, at St Catherine Home, Attard, M’ANNUNZJATA, of Birkirkara, aged 88, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She went to meet her husband Emanuel and her son Alfred and she leaves to mourn her loss her children Carmen, Josephine, Phyllis, Paul, Saviour, Mario, Elizabeth, Lillian, their respective husbands and wives, her grandchildren and great- grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves St Catherine Home on Tuesday, at 8.30 a.m. for the Basilica of St Helen, Birkirkara, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9 a.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Santa Maria AddolorataCemetery. FOSBERRY – Dame ALDA ARDUINO STREGLIO FOSBERRY, died peacefully Monday night after a short illness, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will be cremated in England and there will be a memorial service on Thursday, September 13 at 6 p.m. at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Valletta, and afterwards at Torri Lanzun, Mensija.
VELLA. On August 23, MARIA DOLORES, née Coleiro (Dolly), aged 99, widow of Henry, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Maria, widow of Dr Paul Farrugia, Rose and her husband Lino Abela and her son George residing in the USA, her beloved grandchildren Karen and Anton, Gianrico and Geraldine, Mark and Jo-Anna, Henry and Karen, Christine and Francis, her great-grandchildren Nicholas and his wife Roberta, Matthew, Kristina, Luca, Stefan, Thomas, Paul, Sean and Christopher, her sister Maria Coleiro, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends.
