BONDÌ DALLI. On February 16, in Bologna, Italy, Sister ELENA, passed away peacefully at the age of 94, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss the Community of the Sisters of Charity in Ferrara, Italy, where she spent 75 years, her surviving siblings, Yolanda Pace and Joe and his wife Maria Bondì, her nephews and nieces, Austin, Geraldine, Christine, Joe, Betta, Dwardu, Marielou, Jacqueline, Lou and Joanna and their children and grandchildren; her aunt, cousins and other relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of her soul will be celebrated at the Ursuline Sisters chapel, Sliema, on Tuesday, March 13 at 6 p.m. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
CASSAR. On February 22, at her residence in Balzan, DOROTHY, née Stewart, widow of Frank, aged 79, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved children Claire and her husband Mark Fielder and Nicholas and his wife Kathleen Zarb Adami and her cherished grandchildren, Isabella, May and James as well as other relatives and numerous friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Monday 27 at 8 a.m. for Balzan parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
PANTALLERESCO. On February 23, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARIA THERESA, known as Terry, aged 86, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband Joseph, her sisters-in-law Maria Felice and her husband Ġużi, Alda Pantalleresco, Ina Vella Gera and her husband Walter, her nieces Helga Mayo and her husband Anthony, Anna Marie Laing and her husband Graham, her nephews Anton Felice and his wife Marthese, Mario Felice and his wife Suzanne, Mark Vella Gera and David Vella Gera and his wife Janet, relatives and friends and her affectionate helper Isabel. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9 a.m. for Jesus of Nazareth parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30 a.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors at home.
