AGIUS. On November 13, MARIO, aged 62, passed away peacefully after a long borne illness. CURMI. On November 9, in Florence, a day after his 70th birthday, DENNIS, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Deeply mourned by his wife Inna, his children Gayle and her husband Matt and Michael, his grandchildren Sam, Emma and Edward, his sister Carole and her husband Reg Bonnici, his niece Greta and step-son Alex, cousins, relatives and friends. A memorial Mass for the repose of his soul is being said on Thursday, November 23, at 9am at St Patrick’s church, Sliema. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. DALMAS. On November 9, Mgr. JOSEPH DALMAS, former Attard parish priest. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Evelyn, widow of Paul Pavia, Carmen, widow of Ronnie German, Charles and his wife Bice, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral will be held on Friday, November 17. At 1.15pm Mgr. Dalmas will be lying in state in the chapel of St Anne, Attard, until 2pm from where the cortège leaves for St Mary’s parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be concelebrated by Mgr. Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Relatives and friends are requested to attend. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
PARNIS. On November 13, Sister ANNE, went to meet the Risen Lord, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her sad loss the Sisters of St Joseph of the Apparition, nephews and nieces, her carers and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated today at 2.15pm at St Joseph convent, St Dominic Square, Rabat, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The launching of Anton Tabone’s biography, published by Kite, will be held under the patronage of President Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca on Friday.
The launching will be held in the Throne Room of the Palace, in Valletta at 7pm.
Dr Tabone is a former minister, former Speaker and former Acting President.
