With each of Jewel Kid’s releases helping him to establish a firm foothold both at home and abroad, there’s no denying that the young Maltese DJ’s star has been rising steadily; and the good news is that his future is looking even brighter.
Last month, Jewel Kid’s imprint Alleanza boosted its presence on the international dance circuit with its first label night. Held at Sankeys in Ibiza, the club night also featured a second room hosted by Ibiza Global Radio, the station which also airs the Alleanza radio show every Friday night.
Hosted by Jewel Kid, the weekly radio show features special guest mixes from Jewel Kid and a number of established artists. The show is available to download as a podcast after the initial broadcast.
To date, the show has featured mixes by the likes of Kaiserdisco, Mauro Picotto, Pig & Dan, Cari Lekebusch, Sasha Carassi, Mihailis Safras, Uner and many more.
Founded in mid-2011, the Alleanza imprint kicked off in a big way with Jewel Kid’s own releases, Seahorses and Earthquakes and the Aloadae EP.
More recently, a remix EP featuring techno specialists Mauro Picotto and Riccardo Ferri and Pig and Dan reworking the Aloadae EP was released.
