This year’s Easter International Swim Meet, again sponsored by Klikk, will see the participation of foreign teams who will be vying for the medals with swimmers from local clubs over the next three days at the National Pool Complex, Tal-Qroqq.

There will be two teams from the UK – Exeter City and Coopers School – and SSKC Poseidon Aschaffenburg who hail from Germany.

The meet organisers are expecting an entry field of over 350 swimmers who are registered in any of the 42 events on the card.

In all, 12 clubs will take part in the competition, including swimmers representing ASA ParaSwimming.

It was also agreed that the national team athletes will swim for their clubs during the international meet except for the relay events.

Today’s first event is scheduled for 17.00.
