Passengers who opt for two consecutive cruises with Euromed Cruises in the same category cabin will receive a 20 per cent discount on the total fares of the two cruises.

The offer gives the opportunity for longer cruises, combining Tunis with Naples and Messina for a five-day cruise or Tunis with Messina for a four-day cruise.

At the end of each Euromed cruise, passengers are being given a questionnaire to fill in. "Over the past six weeks, various Maltese and foreign passengers, at the end of their cruise, stated that they would not mind going immediately on another short cruise to another destination with Euromed Cruises," explained Iain R. Tonna, managing director at Euromed Cruises.

"At first, we thought that this is quite a natural reaction by those who enjoyed a cruise with us, but when this particular request persisted, we thought it would be a good idea to offer a distinct package to satisfy this particular demand."

Passengers can benefit from this Euromed offer until the end of October. They will also be entitled to an additional lunch on board the MV Sapphire on the crossover day between the two cruises.

Besides the 20 per cent discount, passengers will not be liable to pay the Lm10 travel tax on the second cruise.

"Euromed Cruises have consistently striven to offer both Maltese and tourists the opportunity to enjoy short Mediterranean cruises at excellent prices," Mr Tonna said.

"With this offer, we are expanding on this concept and offering the possibility of slightly longer trips without incurring much additional expense."

The five-day combined itinerary runs between Tuesdays and Sundays and fares start at Lm103 sharing a four-berth cabin. The four-day combined itinerary runs between Fridays and Tuesdays and fares start at Lm80 sharing a four-berth cabin. The fares exclude taxes and optional shore excursions.

Euromed Cruises are also currently running an offer enabling children under 12 to travel on board the MV Sapphire free of charge when sharing a cabin with two paying adults. This offer runs until the end of July but in the case of combined cruises will only apply to the four-day option.

Taxes and optional shore excursions are payable at the applicable rates.
