A presentation entitled ‘50 Years of Planning Abuse: Look around you and Weep’ will be held on Thursday.

Addressed by Martin Scicluna, director general of the Today Public Policy Institute think-thank and former executive president of Din l-Art Ħelwa, the talk will dwell on the five-decade saga to safeguard Malta’s architectural and environmental heritage.

“This is a story about greed, exploitation, abuse, mis-governance and political ineptitude. It is an object lesson in how not to safeguard your environment,” Mr Scicluna said.

The talk will take place at 133 Melita Street, Valletta, offices of Din l-Art Ħelwa at 6pm.
