A Youth Specialisation Studies Scheme offering subsidised loans for students who wish to follow a course not available in Malta has been launched and will run till June 14.

The scheme offers subsidised loans at the rate of 1.1 per cent to students between 18 and 30 years of age who wish to follow a course which is not offered by the University of Malta.

The loan is to be repaid within 10 years.

Speaking during a press conference, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth Stefan Buontempo said a One Stop Shop would be inaugurated for youths in Valletta within weeks.
