Malta and Montenegro are to sign a Memorandum of Understanding concerning the health sector tomorrow.

The MOU will be signed as part of a visit Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic is paying to Malta.

Mr Djukanovic will be welcomed in Castille Square late in the morning before meeting with Prime Minister Joseph Muscat. The two dignitaries will subsequently tour Valletta before paying a visit to the power station site in Delimara.

Dr Muscat and Minister without portfolio Konrad Mizzi had visited Montenegro in January to inspect the Mozura mountain, where Enemalta, Shanghai Electric Power, Envision Energy and Vestigo will be building a wind farms project. Dr Mizzi was Energy Minister at the time.

Mr Djukanovic is one of Europe's longest-serving top politicians. He was elected prime minister back in 1991, aged 29, and remained in the post for three consecutive terms.

In January 1998 he was made president of Montenegro and remained in office until November 2002. One year later, he was back as prime minister.
