Cycling: Colombian rider Sergio Henao has been withdrawn from racing by Team Sky after concerns re-surfaced about his biological data, the British outfit said yesterday. A statement on Team Sky’s website said Henao had not failed an anti-doping test but had been contacted by world governing body, the UCI, and Cycling Anti-Doping Foundation (CADF) with regards to his Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) data between August 2011 and June 2015. Henao, 28, is a specialist climber signed with Team Sky in 2012 and finished in the top-10 in his first Grand Tour, the 2012 Giro d’Italia.

Basket, NBA: Patty Mills scored 16 points off the bench as the San Antonio Spurs made things look easy from the opening tip and shellacked the Memphis Grizzlies 94-68 Tuesday in Game 2 of the two teams’ Western Conference quarterfinal play-off series. The Spurs own a 2-0 lead in best-of-seven series, which moves to Memphis for Game 3 tomorrow and Game 4 on Sunday.

Euroleague: Fenerbahce Istanbul and Laboral Kutxa Vitoria reached the Euroleague Final Four after completing 3-0 wins in their best-of-five quarter-finals while Barcelona closed in after beating Lokomotiv Krasnodar to take a 2-1 lead. Fenerbahce brushed aside holders Real Madrid 75-63 and Laboral sank the competition’s six-time winners Panathinaikos 84-75 to join CSKA Moscow, who rounded off their 3-0 sweep of Red Star Belgrade on Monday, in the last four. Fenerbahce will play Laboral for a berth in the final in Berlin.

Tennis: Great Britain will play their Davis Cup quarter-final against Serbia on outdoor clay in Belgrade. The tie, from July 15-17, will take place at the 6,100-seat Tasmajdan Stadium in the city centre. Andy Murray has already committed to playing, fitness permitting, as Britain continue the defence of their title. Whether world number one Novak Djokovic also features remains to be seen, and the choice of clay potentially makes it less likely Serbia’s star player will turn out.
