Beppe Fenech Adami, PN deputy leader for party affaurs, had denied claims about him regarding his house, made in today's edition of l-orizzont.

The newspaper carried a front-page story under the heading Palazz Beppe f'nofs skandlu and said there were major questions about the property - without saying what the questions are.

Dr Fenech Adami said the he and his wife bought the property in 1994, when he was not an MP. He only became an MP 14 years later.

They had taken out a loan on the property and the loan was still being repaid.

Dr Fenech Adami said he always declared his property in the MPs' declaration of assets.

He said he did not have a secret company in Panama or a trust in New Zealand as minister Konrad Mizzi and the prime minister's chief of staff Keith Schembri have.
