Mango has presented its Violeta by Mango 2016 spring/summer collection with a distinct 1970s inspiration.

In this decade, denim emerges as a key material, whether in flared trousers, long skirts and overshirts. The golden hues of cognac and mustard merge in garments such as jumpsuits and overalls, offerings that perfectly represent the youthful freedom and optimism of this era.

In tune with this sentiment, the collection impregnates itself with surprising and novel garments such as the tracksuit-style trouser, which is softened in the company of blouses and dresses printed with cashmere, blond lace and lace details.

The explosion of colour and combinations of prints, very typical of this decade, add a touch of originality.

The novelty lies in the artisanal details, which exist in all types of garments: jackets with a rustic look and embroidered blouses with cotton lacework.

Natural fabrics, such as cotton and linen, combine with multicolour stripes and embroidery, offering a comfortable and fresh look, ideal for this season.
