A high school teacher and cameraman in Stokmarknes, Norway, filmed a moose up close using a drone.

Kolbjorn Hoseth Larssen said he was on his way to the dump when he heard on the radio that a moose had been spotted on a road nearby.

He happened to have his drone in the car, so stopped to try and film the animal.

Most moose he tried to film in the past ran away, but this one was very interested, Larssen said.

The footage shows the moose watching the drone before sniffing it as it approaches.

Larssen, who normally photographs people, nature and the Northern Lights, said it was very exciting to capture a moose so intimately.
