A video showing an American multi-instrumentalist playing 90 instruments in one song at a museum in Arizona, has become a viral hit, after being posted to a social media website on Thursday.
Joe Penna, also the director of his musical videos, was invited by the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix to play amongst their over 6,000 thousands instrument collection.
In the video Penna was seen playing 'Misirlou', a traditional folk song originating in countries in the eastern Mediterranean, such as Greece and Turkey, and Egypt.
Penna played a total of 90 instruments, including the tuba, banjo, fiddle, a Peruvian harp and a baritone horn.
He said his greatest challenge was to successfully generate melodic sound from some instruments that have distinct tuning, such as the shakuhachi, a Japanese flute, and the gamelan, a traditional ensemble of percussive instruments fromIndonesia.
