The Malta Cultural Institute launches its new cultural season with a piano recital by Sarah Mercieca, who will be playing works by Schubert, Sinding, Mendelssohn and Lecuona.

This is the first concert from a series of nine monthly performances. The event will also feature soprano Marita Bezzina accompanied by pianist Lydia Buttigieg. They will be presenting a programme of light opera, Neopolitan songs and musicals. The Helen Keith School of Ballet will also present a performance based on the music of Johann Strauss and including some of his most famous waltzes, polkas and excerpts from Die Fledermaus. Choreography is by Helen Keith.
