CALLEJA. On July 26, GEORGE, of Victoria, Gozo, Principal Education Officer, passed away peacefully in Slovenia. He leaves to mourn his loss his brothers Mario and his wife Lina, Joseph, his nephew Joel and niece Nadia, his aunties Mary, Stella, M’Assunta, Giorgia, his uncle Peppinu and his wife Natalina, Maria widow of his uncle Ċensu, his cousins, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves the Gozo General Hospital today at 5pm for the Gozo Cathedral where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 5.30pm, followed by interment at St Mary’s cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
CALLUS. On August 2 at St Catherine’s Home, Attard, MARY, Museum member, aged 92, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister-in-law Ann Callus, widow of Edmund, her nephews and nieces Joseph, Gaetano, Mary, Ugo Daniel, Peter, Catherine and Margaret and their spouses. The funeral leaves St Catherine’s Home tomorrow 8.30am for St Mary parish church, Attard, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am followed by interment at Qalb ta’ Ġesù Cemetery, Żebbuġ. Special thanks to the sisters and staff at St Catherine’s Home for their love and dedication. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
