Champions La Salle Rivareno retained their men’s National League crown for the fourth consecutive year with a 27-15 win over Swieqi Phoenix Menrad last weekend. This was La Salle’s eighth championship and they made sure with a superb showing at the University Sports Hall despite only requiring a point to keep the top placing in the standings. Captain Andrew Said was presented with the league trophy by Malta Handball Association president Louis Borg. Aloysians von Taine ended the season in second place after beating Luxol 36-25 in the final day of the season.
