Green was the colour of the day on Tuesday, as people around the world celebrated St Patrick’s Day. The cultural and religious feast, dedicated to the patron saint of Ireland, is associated with a heavy consumption of beer, especially Guinness, the Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness in Dublin.
