CANN. In the early hours of February 19, at St Vincent de Paul residence, MARY, née Calleja, aged 85, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Beloved mother of four – Alice, Philip, Joan, and Nicholas, their spouses, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will miss her dearly. Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow at 10am at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery chapel. A character in life, may she find eternal peace across the channel.

CUSCHIERI. On February 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, RITA of Sliema, aged 98, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her nieces and nephews Josephine and her husband Joe Flores, Edward Flores and his wife Claire, Mary and her husband Ignatius, Frank and his wife Marika and Robert and his wife Rose, besides other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 9am for Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 9.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. FARRUGIA. On February 19, RITA (Miss Rita, ex-first year teacher at St Joseph’s Convent, Sliema), passed away peacefully in her 95th year, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be said on Monday, February 23 at 2pm at St Gregory church, Sliema, followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addo­lorata Cemetery. STILON. On February 17, at Mater Dei Hospital, EDWARD (Dino), aged 75, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Stephanie, née Wetz, his son Stefan and his wife Rachel, his adored grandchildren Sean and Edward, his in-laws Grace and Albert Cilia-Vincenti, Karin and Joe Depasquale, Anthony and Vicky Wetz, Anna and Rudolph Busuttil, nieces and nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.
