The Malta Tourism Authority’s office in Germany has been awarded the Globus Award for the fifth time.
The trophy is awarded to tourist boards that provide outstanding service to travel agencies. This year, MTA Germany ranked as the second best out of a total of 130 boards. Australia ranked first, and Malta was followed by Spain.
The awards are determined by votes based on the experiences of travel agents. “We are very proud of this award as Malta has beaten off strong competition from a shortlist of some of the world’s most high-profile destinations,” MTA’s CEO Paul Bugeja said.
