Students from the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology’s Institute of Art and Design will be invited to take part in a competition to design the logo for the 2017 Malta EU presidency.

At an event to launch the contest, held in the presence of Mcast principal and CEO Stephen Cachia, institute director Stephen Vella thanked Parliamentary Secretary for the EU Presidency and EU Funds Ian Borg for giving the students this opportunity, which he said may be considered not only as a live case, but also an honour for Mcast.

The logo will form part of the corporate identity to be featured on all media promotional material when Malta takes over the EU presidency in 2017.
