Beatles and Oldies in Concert, a music production by Spiteri Lucas Entertainment, will be staged on January 24 at 7.30pm and on January 25 at 6pm at the Catholic Insitute Theatre in Floriana.

The show will give the audience the opportunity to relive the excitement and memories of post-war music and its protagonists.

The repertoire will include tunes by legendary singers like Cliff Richard, Bill Haley, Charles Aznavour, Claudio Villa, Paul Anka, Shirley Bassey, Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra, Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley.

The show will also pay tribute to The Beatles. Twenty hits, including She Loves You, Eleanor Rigby, Love me Do and A Hard Day’s Night, will be sung by some of Malta’s best singers, including Amber, Ludwig Galea, Dorothy Bezzina, Debbie Scerri and local Elvis tribute artist Redent Falzon.

Singers will be accompanied by a live seven-piece band, under the direction of musical director Mark Spiteri Lucas. Celaine Buhagiar and her Dancel Dancers will be in charge of choreography. Kurt Spiteri Lucas is responsible for technical direction, while Ludwig Galea is the artistic director.

Part of the show’s proceeds will go to Dar tal-Providenza.
